To generate new knowledge about the biological, psychological, social, and environmental factors of parents and their children that, over the course of development, lead toward or away from child mental, behavioral, and physical health outcomes, and to translate that knowledge into policies, programs, and practices for promoting well-being and reducing health disparities in Shelby County, TN and beyond.
